About us

Agro & Food Processing Equipment & Technology Providers Association of India (AFTPAI) started in 2011, have its members representing wide spectrum of technology providers catering to the food processing industry. In order to cater to the fast-growing demands of Indian food industry.

AFTPAI, as a nodal body representing the interests of food processing, packaging and allied technology suppliers shall represent our industry where ever required including MoFPI, trade bodies, Indian and international trade fairs and so on.

Activities

Seek support from MOFPI to recognize technology suppliers to food processing industry under its umbrella. After continuous follow-ups and personal meetings with MoFPI, it has agreed to recognize us under its umbrella.

MoFPI has advised to form a committee to come up with suggestions for framing guidelines for the Machinery Standardization framework.

AFTPAI will take initiatives to take up with the concerned authorities on financial matters like - GST on inward commissions, Grants, Subsidies, etc.

AFTPAI shall seek proposals from members and take up with the relevant ministry to find a solution.

AFTPAI will take a lead role in preparing the background paper, which will help the ministry for framing the policy decisions, and financial support and resolve various other issues being faced by our industry.

AFTPAI will take the initiatives to represent its members at various national and international trade platforms, which will intern create new business opportunities for its members.exhibitions.

AFTPAI will try and financial benefits and better representation at Indian and international exhibitions.
